Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me warmly to this Cyber Roundtable. My
appologies to Robert V. Schornstein for so drasticly changing his thread. I
am not the health Police. I would like to make a quick comment on Bleach
and Sanitation if I could though. Bleach is a good easy sanitizer but you
must be sure and either let it air dry or use it in the proper
concentration. A cap full of bleach in a gallon of water results in a
mixture of about 400 parts per million. Above that it becomes toxic so be
carefull and dont let bleach come in contact with food either. The tread
about Salmonilla is proably something more to worry about than the thread on
E-coli. Cross contamination of preperation surfaces or cooking utensils,
especially that same plate used before the stuff was put on the grill used
to take it off, falls under that common sense line offered by the fellow in
response to my remark about washing ones hands. I think he said "without
common sense, no other senses make sense".
Anyway thanks for making a humble Scouter feel welcome in this warm
and Friendly Place. The best part of life is the thinest slice.
Yours in Scouting
