Jim,
Program ideas? How about some kind of astronomy/star-gazing/meteor- or
satellite-watching activity, with points for correctly identifying
constellations or for spotting the greatest number of meteors/satellites?
You might also try spider-spotting (hold a small flashlight beside your head
at eye level and pan slowly around at the effective limit of the
flashlight's range; spiders' eyes will reflect back as tiny green dots, I'm
told).
