Being new to troop advancement procedures, does any troop use the immediate
recognition kits from scout stores, consisting of a belt fob with leather
strings and beads showing progress in ranks for Tenderfoot, through First Class?

The above is similar to the Cub Scout immediate recognitiion kits the boys
wear on the right side shirt button, for wolf and bear rank, with the
exception it is worn on the belt.

Please advise.
