Young MB Counselors

Some councils don't have the resources to have a 18 year-old or older
to be teaching every merit bage. People over 18 also tend to cost the
camp a little more, seeing as how they can get a "real" job if they
wanted to. For instance, I'm 16 and I was my camp's Scoutcraft Director
this summer. I would say 80% of our MB counselors at camp were under 18.
They even sign there own "blue cards" and no one complains. All flames
