>From 2 to 9 August, more than 12.000 Scout Leaders of AGESCI will meet
together.

AGESCI (Associazione Guide E Scouts Cattolici Italiani = Italian Catholic
Guides and Scouts Association) is the largest Scout association in Italy, with
more than 190.000 members, boys, girls and adults.

This meeting, or "Route", as we call it, will mark the time to think about what
we are doing, and what we want AGESCI to do in the future.

The theme is "Roads and Reflections for Tomorrow".

All leaders will be expected to give their opinion on six main themes, and all
these contributions will be merged in a final document which will be the
guiding document of AGESCI in the next millennium.

The first few days (2-5 August) all Leaders will be in small groups of about
50, hiking all across Italy. These small groups will allow for an easier
exchange of opinions.
Then, on August 5, all these people will move to Piani di Verteglia (near
Naples), where all groups will merge their works.

During these days, there will also be many activity points, where each sector
of AGESCI will show its activities.
We'll show what our Rovers did in Albania and former Yugoslavia, we'll show
what AGESCI does to help the Scout program in developing countries or
ex-communist countries, we'll show every achievement and every opportunity
available.

The GSI (Gruppo Sperimentazione Informatica - Computing Experimentign Task
Force) will be present, of course.
We'll show the power of computer networks, including the Global Scoutnet and
the Internet.

YOU can take part!

YOU can send your thoughts on Scouting, and what should be our "Roads and
Reflections for Tomorrow".
