"Double dipping" is actually promoted in time management these days as
"synergizing" activities to acheive more w/less & in less time, not a bad
skill for the scout to learn. As long as the scout receives quality in
doing this, I have no problem w/it. Sacrificing quality learning and
retention in favor of blistering through ranks and MB's doesn't work for me
though.
