A joke I was just told...

Barb Stephens (EC92@AOL.COM)

Now before anyone takes off because this _does_ touch a sensitive subject,
some background...

I went by the company's accountants, and saw a man who is usually working in
his yard and we talked a bit like we always do. He saw my car and EAGLE son
bumper sticker and all and said "I see you're nto Scouting" and the
discussion dragged out a bit until we were talking about planning,
scheduling, and my wife's demand that I write all events on a certain
calendar in the house so she would know where I am and so I wouldn't forget
any meetings accidentally - on purpose, maybe, but not accidentally. His
response was as follows:

"You know the one about the couple with Alzheimer's don't you?

"One day they sat in their living room and the wife said, "I feel like some
ice cream." Her husband agreed that he'd like some too and added "I like
chocolate, what do you want?" She replied "Vanilla. And you know what, bring
some strawberrries, too. Now write it all down so you don't forget."

"The husband went off to the store and was gone for a couple hours. When he
came back he sat a bag down on the table and sat down. His wife walked to
the table and ripped the bag open.

"She looked inside it and said, "Bacon and eggs? You forgot my toast! I TOLD
you to write it down!"
