Jon,
Thanks for Scouts-L! As a new Scoutmaster the help and information I have
been gathering from the list is making a real difference. Through the list I
have gotten advice on: how to handle troubled youths, gotten travel help for
several trips for my Troop, found help finding a unit in another state for a
moving scout, received help with making plans for my son William's Eagle
Court of Honor, and found help with making summer camp plans for my Troop.
These are just the things I have asked for help with, the knowledge that I
have gathered by reading other's questions/answers gets stored away until it
is needed, and I believe equips me better for the responsiblity of
Scoutmaster
I have also meet on the List several people that I know consider friends even
though I have only met a few of them face to face.
Thanks Again for this gift you give to us!
