Re: Handicapped Eagle

Larry - I welcome all the help I can get, especially from former Eagles.
I commend you for your concern, but I, personally, would not limit what
I offer this person with any preconceived notions of what he can or can
not do. Just let him know what your Troop needs, even if you think it
might be too much of a physical challenge for him, and let him be the one
to decide what is, or is not, within his capabilities. I don't know
enough about this illness. Is it one where those who suffer may have
"good days" and "bad days," days when he is in remission and can do all
sorts of physical activities? My mother in law has a muscle-related
problem. On her "good days" she's always on the go. On her few "bad
days," she has to take it easy.
