Perfect attendance for Cubs

What, in your Pack Committee's constitutes the requirements for perfect
attendance? Do you allow "x" number of excused absences? What
constitutes an excused absence? Are there Packs out there who don't give
the perfect attendance award? Why or why not?

This will come up at Monday's leaders meeting. The Cub Leader Book says
only it's a Pack Committee decision. The book mentions in a couple places
a "Cubby" award to increase Pack Meeting attendance.

My thoughts are that the attendance bars were for both Pack and Den
attendance. Is that correct? My personal opinion right now is that
perfect attendance pins, if criteria is tight, will go to Den Leader and
Pack Committee leader kids. If we set it even a little lax, almost
everyone gets it. I'd rather see the kids recognized with service pins
for their tenure in the Pack. Right now we don't "formally" do either
one. We have had a case where a DL purchased both these for her son
without including others den members so a policy needs to be in place so
it's uniform. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
