Try Para Gear in Skokie, Illinois. 1-847-679-5905 but they'll want to
sell you a full roll, not just a few inches.
Barring that, try a military clothing outfit. The velcro used on
desert BDU's is just about the right color. The first I can think of is

As for color -- tan? or khaki? A judgement call, I admit, but I've
always thought khaki was more accurate.
