I would think that rarity of skill would be *exactly* what would
recommend it to National. 1% make Eagle and how many of _them_ are
Buglers?
I do agree with an earlier post that bugling, er bulgeing ... uh, playing
bugle? isn't exactly in the same class of leadership as SPL. Still, to
keep at the instrument until one can play something recognizable is no
mean feat in today's world. Sheer doggedness has something to recommend
it in the end.
Unless, of course, it's "you" being dogged about something "I" don't
like. <G>
