Web pages that have a scrolling message in the status bar achieve that
through the use of a JavaScript program. There is no "canned" program
available to do that. If you want to implement a scrolling message, I'd
suggest taking a look at the source code of a page that does implement it
(use the View->source button on Netscape) and try to implement something
similar on your own page. JavaScript is not very difficult to learn, but
is a pain to debug. You may want to find someone local if you are not an
experienced programmer.
