I just received this extremely disturbing news item by email. I have no
other details at this time. Be prepared for the black eye we will all
suffer while this matter is on the front pages.

*** Mothers charge Scouts in N.Y. sexual abuse
Three mothers said Tuesday they were suing the Boy Scouts of America
for $72 million alleging their sons were sexually assaulted at summer
camp by other boys. The mothers and their attorney said six boys
between the ages of 6 and 10 were sodomized with a broom handle by
older Boy Scouts while others watched. A spokesman for Boy Scouts of
America declined to comment on the legal issues surrounding the
alleged incidents. The alleged incidents occurred in August last year
at Camp Keowa in Narrowsburg, N.Y.
