You are certainly not "too young." Some of the best Scoutmasters are
those who were Scouts and and are Eagle Scouts. For you to "step up to
the plate" so soon in your career is very commendable. Good Scoutmasters
are increasingly hard to recruit and keep, and anyone who has experience
such as yours, is extremely valuable to a Troop. You probably have found
that Scouts relate very well with you because of your experience and
closeness in age. Welcome aboard!
