Being a member of an LDS Pack Committee

Ray or Dorothy Smith (raydot-e@MAIL.COOS.OR.US)

Hi! I'm new to SCOUTS-L, so I'll introduce myself. I am currently CC at
Pack 68, Chinook District, Oregon Trail Council, in Coos Bay, Oregon. I
have been a scouter for 6 years. I have been involved at the district level
in the past, but have stepped back down to be able to concentrate on my new
tiger scout and a 1st class scout. I am looking for different perspectives
of being a Pack Committee Member in an LDS Unit. This is not for me, but a
fellow scouter who is a UC for LDS packs in the Chinook and Wacoma Districts
of the Oregon Trail Council, who has no modem available to her. The
information could be used in a training at the end of the month, for LDS
leaders. She is interested in what other LDS units around the world have
done with the CC,MC positions to make them work.

YIS,

Dorothy Smith
