Cub Trainer Woodbadge

Wow, I got so many personal replies, that there is no way that I can respond
to everyone in person. Everyone said the same thing...GO. What a great
group. THANKS for your support.

I did contact the course director over this past week. He stated that I
should have no problem. He is familiar with the camp and informed me if I
could walk the Philmont Campus, this one is easy. He stated that many people
come with some health issues. The statement was put in the invitation so
people would "call" and ask about the course if there was a concern.

I have sent off my deposit (for those of you who don't know me...that means
I REALLY am going if money left my hand). I will be attending a camp in
Lousiana near New Orleans August 10-16. Bad part is the twins 11 birthday
falls during this week. They told me to go and we could celebrate their
birthday "BEFORE" I left.

Kathie wrote me (and I probably misunderstood), that I could not use the
Roundtable as part of my training ticket. (The invitation stated that I would
do 18 hours of training including preparation.) I didn't ask about this
issue since I didn't receive Kathie's mail after I talked to the course
director. If I can use it, great. If not, I'm "SURE" something else will
come up to help me give back.

I have read about the "stripped shirt" on this thread. Does Cub Woodbadge
need a clean shirt? Gary (course director) told me that I would need the
yellow blouse (everyone knows how I feel about that!) even though National
changed the ruling. I have someone's I can borrow (never bought one), but
I don't want to remove anything from her shirt.

Since I never did take my tax deduction for buying a uniform, I can buy
ONE, but only one.

Next stop on this adventure...Train the Trainer this weekend. Then, Woodbadge
orientation.
