Dave and others have made several good points - however, legalities &
copyrights notwithstanding, I have seen several types of training
software, all without BSA approval, written by volunteers that rivals
commercial software in quality.
They have hypertext, sound, and in one case, video clips added in. In
short, the "market" is creating the need and *someone* is filling it. So,
even if BSA needs to preserve the cash flow by selling out of date
booklets, they are going to get beaten to the punch by a "freeware" product
that is current and a better tool.
Comments??
