Intro of Rob Stawicki

Hi out there to all on Scouts-l,

My name is Rob Stawicki, some of you may know me, some not but I figured that
I would reintro myself for those who don't. I used to be on Scouts-L but
when I was caught up in AT&Ts downsizing I let my sub go as well.
Anyway, my primary position is Sm of Troop 38 of Brick, NJ. I have been in
this position since July 1 this year. Prior to that I was CM of Pack 38 for 5
years, as well as DL for 2. I am also a MC for Post 38 and an ADC for Three
Rivers District. I recieved my Cub Beads in October 93, used to be a Buffalo
and my Boy Scout beads in Oct of this year, used to be an Eagle. I highly
recommend Wood Badge to anyone. However, I would like to say that you should
get some experience in you Pack or Troop and learn the program first. WB
will build on what you know and give you a whole lot more.
One of my most enjoyable positions is a a trainer. It gives me great
pleasure to help others. I have trained in all levels of Scouting, both Cub
and Boy. I also was on staff for Akela Calls in 1995. Another fellow and
myself taught the computer session, a most wonderful time. With all the
training session that I have been involved in I have always learned
something. Mainly because there are so many others that do things
differently than I do, you can't help but to learn something.
I have 2 sons in my Troop, bith are Life rank. My son Rob, 15, is my SPL,
and my son Craig, 13, was just elected as one of the ASPL, having served a
year as QM.
My wife Donna, is COR for our Post ans well as the District Membership Chair.
And finally my two girls Krysta, 8, and Brianna, 6, are involved in GS.
With all that said and out of the way, I would like to say hello to all my
old friends and new, and look forward to our time together.

YiS,

Rob Stawicki, SM Troop 38
