Richard,
BSA has an excellent book called aptly enough "HISTORY OF CUB SCOUTING"
No. 3849 (ISBN 0-8395-3849-9) which was published in 1987. It is still
on the shelves of most Scout Shops. The book has lots of great
photographs, stories, and interesting facts. And if as a lad you wore
the hat with gold piping and had a Den Mother with a blue uniform, this
book will bring back memories.
