Re: Supply Division Wish List

Although I have a number of wishes for Supply Division (some are listed on
my website), I'll put forth a biggie.

I wish that Supply Division would make a policy of accepting out-of-date
materials at full value in exchange for updated versions of all
materials. There is no excuse for any Scout Shop to have old versions
of Merit badge pamphlets, Handbooks, or other pertinent materials. If a
publication is updated, the priority should be in getting the information
out. Instead, some Councils have to worry about selling all of the old
version before they can justify purchasing the newest version. Either
that, or they eat the cost of those materials. Supply Division should have
to eat the costs of a failure to anticipate proper sales levels or not
being aware of the review schedule for updating publications.
