Erie Canal Trail

Hello out there in cyberspace,
I am seeking information from anyone who is familiar with the trail that
follows the Erie canal through New York state.
My troop will be biking from the Niagara Falls area to Portland Maine
this coming summer. I would be interested in any information about
biking trails, select routes, Scout camps, or other points of interest in
that general region.
