Mark,
I tend to favor Peter Murphy's expression of reverence toward one
another's beliefs. This opinion has been expressed here before. Perhaps you
may want to offer a generic Christian sentiment in referencing the Christmas
season and ask others to join in wishing their christian brothers and
sisters a blessed Christmas season. Invite others to offer their seasonal
thought.
You could also ask (in advance) members of the different faiths to describe
their seasonal celebration's meaning and a sentiment. This could be a
learning experience for the boys.
