My sons troop pays yearly reg.fees for the SM and all ASM's and
Committee members that are active with the troop. As for campouts and
trips, if a parent or ASM or SM drives scouts to the event they do not
have to pay and the troop buys the gas also! If we are going on a long
trip (out of council Summer Camp) the Adult may have to pay the camp fee
if our fundraising has fallen short, but this is the only time we ask
our Scouters and parents to pay.
We are not one of the larger troops so we may only have 3 to 6 adults on
a outing, some of the "MEGA" troops in our council (100 to 160 Scouts)
do the same thing and they may have up to 30 adults on a event!!
