I am gratified to see the resulting messages from the original post on
this subject. I was flabbergasted when I read the posting. I am sure
that most of us have had some of those situations before. To give up on
a scout, in my mind, is absoultly contrary to our purpose as Scouters.
Yes, we are there for the other 9 boys who are there to "sit and learn",
but who needs us more than the one? Is this why we have leader"s",
plural not singular?
