Your goal is First Class in a year isn't it? I don't think your being too
literal. I really hate to see a First Class Scout that can't cook the
basics.
My explanation is that when a Scout has earned First Class, he's aquired
all the Basic Scouting Skills and should be able to perform in a fashion to
give meaning to the rank of First Class. After all, beyond FC, a Scout only
works to deepen his Scouting skills, not expand them.
