G'day there,

I would like to say something in response to this. As a Australian, I have
this same problem when I log on to the Scouting Channels. However, there is a
reason for this and that is the time differences that need to be taken into
account with using these channels.

The other thing is I have actually found the channels to be quite helpful.
While I enjoy Scouting and love reading this list, dont get as much as I
could out of it as it is mainly BSA dominated. I am *not* complaining,
however, there are times I have wanted to ask questions and find out
differnt ways of doing things, but have been unable to ask the list due to
the major differences between the BSA and Australian ways of Scouting. I
know that by loging onto the Channels at certain times (ussually at about
midnight here in Australia) that I will be able to catch some European
Scouters and have found, that while it is a late hour to be a good time to
be logged on as I know I could get a few different thoughts etc on different
problems.

I do want to point out, I am not knocking the list, I do enjoy it a lot. I
am now the district's expert on the BSA. However, I do find the Scouting
channels to be highly beinfical to me as a non BSA member.
