Who pays for adults?

Our Troop has a matter to discuss at our next committee meeting, it's about
who pays for adults going on outings.
-How does your Troop do it?
-Does your Troop pay for the yearly registration?
-Does you Troop pay for adults to a certain extent?
-If so, how much?
I was able to attend 12 of the last 14 outings in the past 10 months, and
the cost of those outings ranged from $5 to $43. The Troop paid for all of
them because of our current policy. We have plenty of funds in our Troop
account for this practice, but recently it has come under fire. I am
willing to pay my share of the outings, but I simply cannot pay the
$250-$300 a year for these activities if that funding is cut off
completely. And I'm certainly not expecting the Troop to pay my portion of
our Philmont expedition. In the past we have decided not to 'punish' the
adults going by having them pay, paying for the adults going was our way of
making it as easy as possible for them. This practice, in my opinion is
not abused by myself or any other adults in our Troop, and when possible I
was able to pay my share of the outing, usually on the more expensive
outings. Help! What does your Troop Do?
