I apologize for prolonging this thread for one more post but....
There are reasons for wanting QU status other than just another patch.
(Although the boys put a lot of weight in patches on their uniform because we
push patches/advancement in the program). Our council offers FREE cloth
advancements for the year to units that achieve quality status. We have a very
large unit and that adds up to a decent amount of money.
