Re: Organizing Materials

My cubmaster files are organized in four components:
1. A 2-inch binder with the day-to-day materials, including Cub =
Leader Book, program helps, program plan, and roster.
2. A bookshelf stocked with scout books, pamphlets, and pow-wow =
books.
3. A single file drawer for the reams of paper I collect on various =
topics. My current file plan is included at the bottom of this =
message. (I had to stare at my 2 foot pile of scout paper for six =
months before I could figure it out.) ;-)
4. A growing collection of boxes in the basement containing ceremony =
props, uniform parts, excess badges, and derby car kits, etc.
I've determined that much is the scouting program is cyclical and =
therefore finite and manageable. The amount of resource material =
available to cub leaders (and the amount of paper I collect) never =
ceases to amaze me. Hope this is helpful...
