Highest level in USA scouting

Guilherme de Sampaio Soares (gssoares@CCE.UFPR.BR)

Hello there, here is Guilherme, the brazilian sea scout!!!

I know my question could be some baloney but,...

I've seen that some of you are EAGLES. What are these eagles? Is
it a USA scouting title? If yes, are there a special patch for it? What
are the steps to achieve it?

You know, here in Brazil we have some highest levels too. There
are one for each branch of scouting.

Let me explain:

- Cubscouts (7-10 years old) - Cruzeiro do Sul (it's the
name of one star constelation that always point to the south of the earth.
It works just like the Polar Star)

- Boy-scouts (10-14) Lis de Ouro (Gold Iris)

- Venturers (14-18 - I don't know if the translation is
correct) ESCOTEIRO DA PATRIA (something like national scout)

- Rovers (18-21) Insignia de BP (BP's Patch)

I'm sorry if I'm making some foolish question, but I'm really
interested in learning more about scouting in other countries!!!

Well, thanks a lot to everyone!!!!

YiS, Guilherme, the brazilian sea scout!!!
