With the recent postings regarding ADD and scouting I would like to mention
an excellant resource for units with or without ADD scouts. "The
Scoutmaster's Guide To Attention Deficit Disorder" by D. Steven Ledingham is
an excellent resource. It is a superb resource. The author is an ADD
Adult, ADD Parent, and ADD Scoutmaster. The book not only helps to provide
an insight into working with ADD children it contains basic information and
tools that can be used when working with any child or young adult. The book
was used as a resource for one class at our University of Scouting. A
remark was made that " what is contained in the book can be applied to
working with any youth."
