That info on the Raven patrol is very interesting. My woodbadge
scoutmaster (WM61-96) is a Raven. As we sang the Gilwell song for the
last time during our course, it was a little sadder because he had been
informed by the National Office that there will be no more Raven patrols,
and whatever the patrol is that is in order just in front of Raven (the
name escapes me now).
The reasoning they gave, he said, was that BSA wants to make certain
courses don't get so large that Ravens are necessary.
