Air Bags

Folks,
I know we've gone round and round on this one. Airbags are not meant for
kids. They are also not meant for people of less than average height. I
read an article a short time ago. It stated that 8 women were severely
injured by their airbags, three died. All of the women who died were less
than 5'5". Presumably men who are short are also in danger. The average US
built car is designed for the average US adult. Those of us who are taller
have to deal with loss of head room, leg room. Those of us who are shorter
need to be wary of our safety devices. Please, be careful out there.
