Speaking up for my brothers, while I'm a bear, and my father's a beaver,
one brother is an owl, another brother is a racoon, and a third brother is
a sled dog. A fourth brother went through woodbadge, but he passed away
several years ago, and I have not found out which patrol he was part of.
I have one other brother (the youngest) that has not been able to go to
woodbadge yet. He says his council in Dallas always has Woodbadge in the
fall. Since he is in charge of a University Theater, and fall is the
busiest time of the year at a University Theater (or one of them), he
hasn't been able to get away.
Oh, the Racoon? He was in a 9 patrol troop from the Santa Clara County
Council just over two years ago. His SPL was a Racoon, and he was tired
of always being the only Racoon to sing the Gilwell song.
And the Sled Dog? Well, he's living in Canada, and went throug woodbadge
up there. They have all sorts of "different" patrol names.
