I forgot one additional item. As a youth, we had a card with a bunch of
numbers to be punched out. Each number had a certain value (i.e., 25 cents)
and we could deposit money into the troop treasury all year to pay for the
next summer camp. I remember paying 25 cents a week starting the week after
summer camp one year and only needing $1.00 to pay off the balance when
we went to camp the next year (a week of camp was $13.50!)
