Hey Rob and all...
Our pack is heading to KSC this weekend and will be staying at the
Jetty Park, which is quite close in Port Canaveral. It is a beautiful palce,
and the facilities are numerous, including beach swimming, fishing in the
surf or inlet, and other "sun" type stuff. We will be heading to KSC on
Saturday, and while it is NOT "Space Camp" it still is a GREAT place to
go... and a LOT of it is for free. In January, they usually have a special
rate for Scouts with a special patch as well. Most of the Scouts will be
going to the IMAX and on the Bus tours, which are quite reasonable, and give
the Scouts a chance to see the shuttle on the launch pad the VAB, and the
Crawler... I wish we could be there this Wednsday, when they send a mission
to Mars! What a blast!
