Goo for making plaster cast molds

Diane,
To make plaster casting molds using a sample of the item to be cast:
A commercial product is available in small quantities (pint, etc.) for doing
just that. Check your local craft store. A product that I used was painted
on in several layers and worked quite well. Seemed to be a latex material.
Try this if you aren't satisfied with the results from the "RTV" suggestions.
