I would like to add that there is an excellant program offered by BSA called
Okpik. It started in Ely,Minn and is presently coordinatedby Sandy Bridges.Our
council, Northwest Suburban of the Chicago area have run this course for the
last five years as a Train-the Trainer. It comprises four indoor training
sessions and an outdoor overnite in January. I am the SPL and Chuck Taubman is
the SM. We have found this to be one of the most popular training courses for
the Adults and Venture Scouts.
