Greetings!
We have long enjoyed the 'conversation' on Scouts-L. Now we would like
some input on two items.
1-We made some Navajo fry bread last night - testing it first for a den
activity. It is really heavy - no yeast! Called for flour, salt, baking
powder, and water. Any comments on a variation - we know the boys will
think it was too much work for the finished product, even though we are
_trying_ to should different cultures!
2-We have hit a year when we are loosing boys right and left from the
Pack. Not one den in particular - just about every den has lost someone!
Looking back over the records from the early 70's we saw about every
third year went way down, but history has been steady since about 85/86.
Should we expect this or are we lucky the drop has taken so long to come
around or is there something in the air this year????
Thanks for your help.
