National Tour Permits

Hello Scouters,
I want to confirm with those that know. Our troop is planning a long
trip for summer camp ( 750 to 1000 miles one way ). This will require
us to submit a National Tour permit because it is over 500 miles.
My questions are;
Is there a limit as to the number of miles a troop can travel in a
day? in a trip?
What are some of the procedures or requirements necessary for
completing this form?
