Here's my small contibution to the discourse on the "English" interpreter
strip. As one who has lived at one time or another in the UK, Australia and
currently in the US, I have been fortunate to experience many varieties of the
English language. These have ranged from distinct regional variations to
highly localized (localised) aberrations. In all of this I have found one
famous quote to be emminently true (I believe it is attributed to the late Sir
Winston Chuchill (interestingly enough an Englishman with American
antecedents) and this is..
Americans and Britons are two people separated by a common language..
