Snow Base Zero

Hello Scout-lers:
For those of you in BSA, I hope you all got a chance to read about
Indianhead Council's Snowbase in Scouting Magazine. Great pictures and
writing. Also really good cold weather tips at the end.
The troop's noted in the article were up at Snowbase the third weekend of
January 1996. This camp is great fun and an outstand team and person
building program. Had anyone asked me to sleep out in the snow like we do
at Snowbase when I was 13 years old, I would have said no way. Now days, I
can't wait for another winter to come along so that I can sleep in the snow
and teach and watch these scouts grow from challenging themselves at Snowbase.
