A Big Thank You from the Andrew Jackson Council, Eastern Dist. in
Jackson, Mississippi, USA.
At last count we had around 100 Scouts who made contact on JOTA by HAM
radio and on the Internet and on IRC. Just a Big Thanks if you helped a
scout out on JOTA.
We had 3 HAM sets and a Computer with a Satellite down link set up on
10/19/96 from 8am till lights out (I think that was around 3am on
10/20/96 for a few lucky scouts who stayed with the equipment )
