Re: A Scout is Trustworthy

These posts about the public extending favors to Scouters are truly touching...
BUT, they bring to mind a major gripe I have about our local Scout Shop. If
you go in and borrow a video (YPP or whatever) they request a $10 deposit
which is refundable when you return the video. The first time I encountered
this I was quick to remark that I thought that Scouts and Scouters were
TRUSTWORTHY. The reply was, "Yea, but before we started charging a deposit
we never got any of our videos back!"

So here we are hoping to get a break with the general public but our fellow
Scouters can't trust us with a worn out copy of a dull video??
