One time when I was driving a bunch of boys to summer camp, I stopped for
gas at a unfamiliar station. When I went in to ask if they accepted out
of town checks, the young cashier started to explain that they only took
major credit cards. The owner was standing nearby and noted my Scout
uniform and the carload of uniformed Scouts and told him... "His check's
OK, he's with the Scouts."
