Those are all of the UNIT codes...of course, there's 86,88, 96 and 98, for
District
and Council Committeemembers, and 82 for the District Chair(man), and
I believe 84 and 94 are for the District and Council Commissioners,
respectively.
But those don't go on the UNIT chartering documents.

Each District (and in larger Councils, sub-districts) have their own
chartering pages.
This has the position codes of all of the volunteers (and the
professional(s) that
are registered as a volunteer in another District) and their positions that
they hold.
During rechartering time, the District's leadership confirms their portion
of the
charter and updates it with additions and deletions.

Yes...Dave, its been official since last winter. ALL VARSITY positions IN A
UNIT are now VENTURE positions....note please, that I stated *in a unit*,
because we
STILL HAVE VARSITY UNITS and their position codes are still valid. So, if your
unit(s) have been dragging their feet with the switchover from "varsity" to
"venture"
crews, this being the start of a new program year would provide a great
chance to
do this name change.
Varsity TEAMS are not affected by the change and they can continue to move
forward.

At the age of 18, a person may serve as Assistant Scoutmaster, Assistant
Cubmaster,
Assistant Den Leader or Assistant Coach. In some Councils, he may serve as a
merit badge counsellor at age 18 as well [NOTE: No he cannot, according to many
here on the list that say that merit badge counsellors MUST be 21 or older].
Those
are PRESENTLY the only positions available to this young man until he turns 21.
A *big difference* from our days, in which we welcomed 18 year-olds into our
Districts and Councils with open arms and a list of tasks to be done, as
well as
encouraging them to serve as Associate Advisors for Exploring units. "
