"Know your name?

Regarding nametags: as Cub Roundtable Commissioner, I arrange a big
order of permanent nametags each Fall, and annoy people greatly until they
agree to buy
one. (Learning from experience, I now insist on receiving money
before putting in the order. Individualized nametags are obviously
not returnable if someone moves away or quits.)
Our older son noticed that after he received his Eagle, he found himself
in situations where people regarded him as an authority on
scouting (as indeed they should!) and having a nametag would
be a help. He suggested that our troop should give out nametags
along with the Eagle, or upon promotion to ASM.
It's a good idea that I will present to the CC this fall.
