Hi Howard,

I am a associate advisor of a high adventure post and found the answers
to most of your questions in the guide to safe scouting. The min.
number of leaders needed is 2, but if a mixed group must have 1 male and
1 female. Our post has a problem with the male leader part because most
of the dad's are SM of the verious troops we get boys from.
No you are not out of touch, still need the adults for youth protection.
