Subject: RON BROWN FEARED IN PLANE CRASH

PRELIMINARY REPORT: Details are sketchy, but ABC News just reported
that Ron Brown, Secretary of Commerce, plane has crashed outside of
Croatia. I'm sure we'll all be hearing more about this throughout
the day.

ABC NEWS: THE WHITE HOUSE HAS JUST CONFIRMED THAT THE PLANE HAS GONE DOWN,
BUT HAS NOT YET CONFIRMED THAT RON BROWN WAS ON BOARD ... BUT IT IS FEARED SO.
